These are our available foster dogs. If you are interested in adopting a greyhound, please fill out an application, and we will contact you to begin the process. If you have already adopted a greyhound from us, contact your placement rep to ask about one of these greyhounds. Please note that while the dogs on here are technically available, someone else may also be looking at the same dog; therefore, we suggest you look at several that you think might fit into your household. Also, as part of the screening process, we will determine what personality would best fit into your home, so while you may find a particular dog very striking to you, he or she may not be a good fit. If you have any questions about the process, you can read more about it here.

We have a few special foster greyhounds who are looking for just the right home. You can see their profiles here.

Aries - Adoption Pending
They named me Aries (AKA WW's Lite Air) and I’ve just finished my college education at Mount San Antonio College (MSAC) Vet Tech School. They were just great to me there...while I got all the attention, love, walks, surgery and health checks, the Vet Techs were doing their training and earning their licenses. Just now I’ve been sent to a foster home where I’m learning all about being a super pet and living in a regular home...this is really fun. I’m just about ready to come home to you, so give Fast Friends a call and we can meet up very soon.

Aston
I'm Aston (AKA Jim Aston Martin) OK, I know it’s kind of weird to be named after a car used by James Bond in at least 5 of his movies...but you know, JB loved beautiful women and I’m certainly one of those! Just take a look at my soulful eyes and tiger stripes...you’ll know what love at first sight is. My foster family thinks I’ve got the brains to go along with all this beauty...I learned the doggy dog routine on my first test, and I know what “no” is and follow direction beautifully. I get along with all kinds of dogs, large and small, I never met a human stranger, adult or child. I know they’re put on this planet to show me that super retirement life I’ve heard all about. Besides, they’re a lot of fun to play with! I played with everyone at the Orange County Pet Expo and was actually the hit of the day. Take me anywhere and watch all the new friends you and I will make together...I’m a whole lot of fun!

Athena
I'm Athena (AKA WW Mint Athena) I’m one of the special ones chosen to be a MSAC dog! I’m one of the most important parts of the Licensed Vet Tech Program here at Mt. San Antonio College. Yes, I am! This is where students take care of me while they are learning how to be highly trained Vet Techs. They’ll get their training and licenses here, then go out to work with veterinarians and be oh, so smart. It’s all because of me and the other dogs Fast Friends sends here first. We get lots of attention, love, walks and gentle care while we work to make better informed and trained Vet Techs. Foster families love to take us afterward and teach us all the “home pet knowledge” and then we’re truly ready for you to come and take us to that loving, caring spot in your life. Keep looking back here to see what my foster family has to say about me soon. I can hardly wait to meet you...

Burrito
They call me Buritto (AKA Blueburritobetty)

Charger
Hi, my name is Charger, aka Cavalry Charge and that’s just what I did in my racing career. You’ll never believe what happened on my last day at the track! I jumped down from my crate (the one on top!) to go out for some practice and over-extended both of my wrists. I’ve had two surgeries on each of them and am pleased to say that I am all fixed up and perfectly healthy once more! I, just this month, had my 4th birthday and am all ready for a retirement spot in your life. Did you notice my Jimmy Durante nose? Mom says it gives me a regal air of distinction, and I agree...I can look down my nose with the best of them!! I’m really too affectionate and loving though, to really look down my nose...people, dogs, kids, cats...they all love me and I love them. I like to lean on Mom just to let her know it’s time for attention and love...her to me and me to her. The other Greyhounds here taught me all about the right place to take care of business and other “good pet” deeds. So, if you’re looking for a gentle, sweetly affectionate, neat and loyal best friend, I’m your guy!

Cherish
They named me Cherish (AKA Cherished) and you certainly will “cherish” me! I was a very speedy little girl at the track and didn’t get to retire until I was not quite 5 years old. Now, I’m more than ready. My foster family adores the way I’ve become their “Velcro” dog following Mom around with the vacuum cleaner and running circles around Dad when he mows the lawn. I have my own special place in the backyard to take care of ladylike duties...heaven forbid I would ever be so remiss as to have an accident in the house...just isn’t done don’cha know! I love to go on walks and you will find I sort of like to “smell the roses” along the way. Well maybe “roses” is a little off...what I mean is I like to pick up anything on the ground to inspect. After all, it might be a gift just for me, like when Dad gets ready to give treats! One of my other favorite things to do is play with my toys...toss them in the air and then...pounce...do it again. Other than that, you can usually find me sound asleep on any doggy bed in the house. Come and see!
