Dental Care
All FastFriends greyhounds receive a deep dental cleaning while in their foster homes. Since these dogs usually have received no dental care previously, it is common that there will be tartar build up and gum recession. Regular dental care in retirement; therefore, is essential to maintain a healthy mouth.
Daily brushing and regular professional dental cleaning is a must. Many veterinary practices are offering non-anesthetic dental cleaning and, with regular brushing, this combination works well. Always follow the advice of your vet when it comes to the dental care of your greyhound.
