As a non-profit, charitable 501(c)(3) organization with no paid or salaried positions, we rely solely on our volunteers to accomplish our mission. We have many opportunities to help out!
Volunteer Time
Help out during a retirement day, dog wash, or show and tell. Volunteering during events is a great way to meet new friends with a common interest; meet more greyhounds, and have a great time while helping us with our mission. New volunteers are always welcome, don't be shy!
Foster
We are in dire NEED of MORE foster homes who can take an injured track dog. To find out more click here.
Foster
Become a foster home for greyhounds. Fostering is one of the most important volunteer opportunities with our group. Each foster home opening allows us to bring one more greyhound from the racetrack. Open up your heart, and your home, and help a greyhound become a couch potato.
Donations
Donate funds or time. If you want to help but don't have the time, consider donating supplies or money. Donations to FastFriends make great gifts, and great memorials for those who have lost pets. Our organization relies on fundraising and donations to help us fulfill our mission, and we are very grateful for everything we can do as a result of these donations.
Adopt!
Every adoption frees up a foster home to take another foster dog. If you are ready to add another member to your family, browse through our adorable adoptable dogs!
We always need foster homes and volunteers for our Retirement Days, Dog Washes and Show and Tells. If you want to foster, you need to fill out our application if you have not adopted from us. If you are going to volunteer on Retirement Day or for a Dog Wash, you do NOT need to fill out any form.
